THEORY OF MULTIPLE INTELLIGENCES
 Proposed by HOWARD GARDNER in his book
in 1983.
 Where broadens the definition on intelligence
and outlines several types of intellectual.
1. LINGUISTIC INTELLIGENCE - deals with
sensitivity to the spoken and written language.
2. LOGICAL MATHEMATICAL
INTELLIGENCE – it refers to the capacity to
analyze problems logically, carry out
mathematical operators, and investigate issues
scientifically.
3. SPATIAL INTELLIGENCE – this explains the
potential to recognize and manipulate the
patterns of wide space.
4. BODILY KINISTHETIC INTELLIGENCE –
the potential of using one’s whole body or parts
of the body like hand or mouth to solve
problems of fashion products.
5. MUSICAL INTELLIGENCE – this refers to
the skills in the performance, composition and
appreciation of musical patterns.
6. INTERPERSONAL INTELLIGENCE – it is
the capacity to understand the intentions,
motivations, and desires of other people.
7. INTRAPERSONAL INTELLIGENCE - the
capacity to understand oneself. To have an
effective working model of oneself – including
own’s desires, dears, and capacities.
8. NATURALISTIC INTELLIGENCE – GLOBALIZATION
involves expertise in the recognition and
classification of numerous species.
CHARACTERISTIC OF CYBER WORLD
1. PRIVACY – it provides cyber citizens with a
sense of freedom.
 Ability to do things not possible in the
physical/social world.
 Able to make personas or present yourself in a
different way compared to your physical person.
2. ALLEGIANCE – sense of community without
having to follow sovereignty or hierarchy of
power.
 To be included without requiring to have a
specific role in a cyber community.
3. BELONGINGNESS – people are not part of a
well-defined social structure. They are not
required to be governed by other responsibilities
and social roles.
SOCIAL STRUCTURE – typically done in and
institution.
COMPONENTS OF SOCIAL STRUCTURE
 Role – responsibilities and the role you have in
the society.
 Status – what level/rank you have in your
society; hierarchy.
 Role expectations – what is expected of you by
others and also what you expect you need to do.
CODE OF CONDUCT – actions of people of the
virtual world are dependent upon the type of
engagement that they want.
CONTEMPORARY WORLD AND
Contemporary World is an examination of the
multifaceted phenomenon of globalization. Social
Science examines the social, technological,
economic, politics, and other transformation.
Globalization – is the integration of the world
markets through international trade and
intergovernmental agreements. – how countries
behave.

Human Rights are the fundamental rights “to which

a person is inherently entitled simply because she or
he is a human being.”

 To simply put, there is human rights because you

are human; you have the right to live, to enjoy
the rights and because you are living biological
human.

Commission of Human rights 1987 – “some acts

are explicitly defined as human rights violations
only if committed by state agents or those acting in
complicity with them. If rights are violated, the state
is obligated to ensure domestic remedies to correct
the harm are available. A failure to do so may allow
individual to bring a complaint against the state
before an international tribunal.”
Criticism in Commission of Human Rights – the
seeming inaction of human rights groups on
victimization is taken as skewed against the state
and in favor of common criminals.
