SCIENCE (CLASS -X)

Waste has become a big challenge for the environment and humans in
modern mes. Our water bodies, our grasslands, our fields, our public spaces, all of them
are being affected by the waste we discard. It is important to take steps like Refuse, Reduce,
Reuse, Repurpose and Recycling at a young age. It is important to know what we actually
need and what we just want.

Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Repurpose & Recycle are also known as “the most important 5R’s”
of waste management. Out of 5 R's, four actions should be taken, prior to 'recycling'
that is refuse, reduce, reuse, repurpose, and then recycle. The concept of 5R’s is to
decrease the amount of things we use and simultaneously also decrease the amount of
things we throw away. Since we have limited space on earth to dispose all the waste, it is
important to use the resources efficiently and create less waste. The 5R’s play an important
role in solving the problems which can arise out of wrong waste management habits.

NOTE-Student has to prepare a creative & colourful poster on the importance of

5 R’s to save the environment.

1) The poster should be made on a A-3 size sheet.

2) It should depict few examples and importance of each R to save
environment.
3) Prepare the colourful poster in a creative way 2D/3D using relevant
information and drawings.
4) Please submit the poster to your respective science compilers before
10/10/23.
