QSB High Pressure Fuel
Connector
• Located in head passage between external high pressure fuel
lines and injector
• Injector end is cone-shaped to seal against the side of the
injector body (any leak here returns fuel to drain)
• Sealing o-ring prevents drain fuel leakage past high pressure
connector
• Edge filter located inside the high pressure connector
• Held in place against injector by high pressure fuel line
• End of high pressure connector threaded for removal tool

• Hole type nozzle ( Seven Holes )
• Fuel entry from side of injector through high pressure fuel
connector
• Centrally located, under valve cover between rocker levers
• Secured with hold down clamp and shoulder bolts
• O-ring seal on injector body to separate fuel manifold from
overhead oil
• Injector drain manifold integrated as drilling in head
• Copper sealing washer is 1.5 mm thick
