2 Executive Summary:
This internship report provides an overview of my experience as a finance intern at Telenor GSS. The
report includes a description of the organization, details of my duties and responsibilities,
recommendations based on my internship experience, and a summary of the learning outcomes I gained
during this period.

3 Chapter One: Organization Overview

3.1 Brief Description of the Organization:

Telenor GSS is a renowned telecommunications company that provides a wide range of services to
customers worldwide. With a strong presence in the telecommunications industry, Telenor GSS offers
innovative solutions in mobile communications, internet connectivity, and digital services.
3.1.1 3.2 Organization Services:
Telenor GSS focuses on delivering exceptional telecom services to its customers. Their services include
mobile network operations, broadband services, enterprise solutions, and digital products. As a leading
telecommunications company, Telenor GSS strives to provide reliable and advanced communication
services to meet the needs of its diverse customer base.

4 Chapter Two: Description of Duties

4.1.1.1 4.1 Nature of Job:
As a finance intern at Telenor GSS, my role primarily involved handling General Ledger (GL) reports and
Account Receivable (AR) reports. This required a strong attention to detail, accuracy, and an
understanding of financial processes within the organization.
4.2 Duties Performed:
Throughout my internship, I was responsible for generating GL reports and AR reports. These reports
played a crucial role in analyzing financial data, identifying discrepancies, and maintaining accurate
financial records. Additionally, I supported the finance team in updating the ledger and ensuring the
integrity of financial information.

5 Chapter Three: Recommendations

Based on my internship experience at Telenor GSS, I have the following recommendations for the
organization:
Encourage the involvement of interns in specific projects to provide them with a more comprehensive
learning experience.
Provide interns with opportunities to collaborate with different departments within the organization to
gain a broader understanding of the company’s operations.
Offer structured training programs or workshops to enhance interns’ technical skills and knowledge in
relevant areas.

6 Chapter Four: Learning Outcomes

During my internship, I acquired several valuable learning outcomes, including:

Proficiency in generating accurate GL reports and AR reports using financial management software, such
as Oracle.
Improved understanding of financial processes, including ledger updates and maintaining financial
records.
Enhanced attention to detail and analytical skills through working with financial data.
Strengthened communication and teamwork abilities through active collaboration with the finance
team.
In conclusion, my internship at Telenor GSS as a finance intern provided me with practical experience in
financial reporting and analysis. The organization’s focus on delivering exceptional telecommunications
services, combined with my duties and responsibilities, contributed to valuable learning outcomes.
Based on my experience, I have provided recommendations for further improving the internship
program at Telenor GSS. Overall, this internship has positively impacted my personal and professional
development in the field of finance.
