Inform the DR Staff through phone followed by

ED NURSE
written Notification Slip

Inform the Admitting Section for patient’s room

ED NURSE
of choice

Carry out Stat Orders and Secure Consent for

ED NURSE
procedure

Obtain patient’s OB History FLOOR CONSULTANT

Transfer patient to DR per stretcher ED NURSE/ ATTENDANT/ORDERLY

Endorse patient and chart to L&D staff ED NURSE

Transfer the patient to Labour and Delivery per

stretcher and hook to cardiac monitor and take L&D NURSE / L&D NURSE ATTENDANT
initial vital signs.
