PRESENTE SIMPLE
PARA PREGUNTAR Y PARA NEGAR UN VERBO, SE NECESITA EL VERBO AUXILIAR “TO DO”. NO
TIENE NINGÚN SIGNIFICADO EN ESE CONTEXTO, AUNQUE SI SE UTILIZA POR SÍ SOLO SIGNIFICA
“HACER”.
[CUALQUIER VERBO QUE NO SEA EL DO – QUE NO USE EL VERBO HACER]
AFIRMATIVA: SUJ + VERBO (MIRAR SI ES 3º PERSONA). I drive – yo conduzo
NEGATIVO: SUJ + DO/DOES (negado) + VERBO. I don’t drive – Yo no conduco
INTERROGATIVA: DO/DOES + SUJ + VERBO. Do I drive? – Conduzco? /Conduzco yo?

El verbo “to be” no necesita el verbo auxiliar “to do” para negagar ni preguntar. Pero el
esto de verbo SÍ, incluido el “to have.”
