LESSON PLAN IN ENGLISH

I. OBJECTIVES:
At the end of the discussion, the students should be able to:
1. Understand the different types of WH questions: Who, What, Where, When, Why, and How;
2. Gather different information using the six WH questions;
3. Use these types of WH questions in their own example.

A. Preliminary Activities

B. Developmental Activities
a. Review:
i. The teacher will conduct a brief recitation that will serve as their review time.
ii. Each student will be given an opportunity to share their answers regarding the
previous topic which is the Adverbs.
iii. Students who will recite will be given recitation points.

C. Motivation:

The teacher will have a “get to know” session that involves asking questions connected to Wh-
questions.

D. Presentation:
The teacher will show the flashcards that contain multiplication questions and the students will
formulate and give the answer.

E. Discussion:
WH- QUESTIONS

1. Multiply the top numbers (the numerators).


2. Multiply the bottom numbers (the denominators).
3. Simplify the fraction if needed.

F. Application:
The students will watch a movie titled “Coco” and answer the following questions:

1. What did you learn from a character in the story?


2. Where does the story take place?
3. When does the story take place?
4. What are the most important events in the story? Why do you believe they are
important?
5. How does the story make you feel?
6. What does the story mean to you?

G. Generalization:
i. The teacher will summarize the topic.
ii. The teacher will also provide some additional examples to broaden the knowledge of the
students.

H. Evaluation:
The teacher will provide feedback to the students.

I. Homework:
Research the following:
a. What are the steps in dividing fraction?
b. Give example of things that can be divide evenly.
