Greetings of Peace!

The Mass of the Holy Spirit is a tradition among academic institutions dating to 1548 in which the
community gathers to thank God for the gifts of creation and salvation and to seek the guidance and
wisdom of the Holy Spirit in the coming Academic Year. At the celebration of a Mass of the Holy Spirit,
we are asking the Holy Spirit to imbue all of our endeavors in the upcoming year with the fruits and gifts
of the Holy Spirit.

To formally open the Academic Year 2022-2023, the Divine Word College of Legazpi, College
Department will be celebrating the Mass of the Holy Spirit on August 31, 2022, 10:30 AM at the DWCL
Gymnasium and we would like to invite you to be the main celebrant as we thank God for all the
blessings that He has given us and invoke the Holy Spirit to guide us as we start the Academic Year.
