Hello!
We are enjoying a particularly mild winter in Grand Forks. I have had to laugh at myself
when I say, “It’s so cold,” and the temperature is still above 0℉. I guess we acclimate to
changes more easily than we think!
It has been a busy few weeks on campus. One of my highlights was a quick trip to
Bemidji to visit some of the student leaders there. I had given them our set of the “Perspective”
banners and wanted to check out the outreach they were doing with them. The banners display
different views of the possible answers to the “big” questions in life. “What is ultimate reality?
Where do we find meaning and purpose? Who is Jesus? How do we learn spiritual truth?” The
leaders set them up in different locations on campus for a couple of hours a day for a week. As
students came by, the leaders would ask students if they could hear their perspective. It was
encouraging to hear the leaders share about some of the conversations they had been able to have
with interested students.

Please pray for students at BSU, UND, NCTC, and MSU to grow in their dependence on
Jesus and desire to share Jesus with others. At UND, we have been talking a lot about prayer as
well as what it means to love our neighbor. We pray God will grow our hearts to live
missionally on campus, continue to grow our love and care for our neighbor, and equip us to
share Jesus for the rest of our lives wherever God takes us in the future.
Thank you for partnering with us. We are grateful for your prayers to connect with new
students and are so grateful to have a budget that allows us to purchase tools and resources to
help students in their efforts to impact people around them.
