INCREASE IN PATIENTS RECEIVING MEDICAL ATTENTION IN
HEMODIALYSIS CLINICS.
Lifestyles have been defined as patterns of individual or group behavior influenced by the
social structure, used by various social sciences to characterize groups, in the field of health,
they have been considered epidemiologically as individual factors linked to chronic diseases,
which enhance or can put health at risk, emphasizing the responsibility of people for their
own health.
Hemodialysis reduces uremic symptoms, improves lifestyle, and offers the possibility of
maintaining work capacity; associated risk factors; the highest mortality in hemodialysis
patients occurs in advanced ages, chronic cardiovascular comorbidities (coronary heart
disease); pulmonary, (pulmonary fibrosis or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease); liver,
(chronic hepatitis or cirrhosis), diabetes and malnutrition.
Eating habits.
Therefore, once the domains are correlated with each
other, the quality of life depends directly on at least a minimum of good conditions in each
of these, so that the individual can continue life without major problems in life habits after
the discovery of the disease and initiation of hemodialysis treatment.
Conclusions: Patients with CRF register a poor quality of life, the level of adherence to
hemodialysis treatment is conditioned by dietary guidelines.
