    A landslide occurred near the author's house at SMK ST PAUL in Malaysia two weeks ago. The landslide was caused by heavy rainfall that saturated the ground and destabilized the slope, resulting in the accumulation of water.     A natural disaster is the negative impact following


    an actual occurrence of natural hazard in the event
    that it significantly harms a community. Natural
    disaster causes great damage and loss of life. In
    Malaysia landslides occurs frequently. A fortnight
    ago, there was a landslide a stone’s throw from my
    house at SMK ST PAUL. The landslide is caused
    by disturbance in natural stability of a slope. The
    landslide is caused by the accumulation of water in
    the ground due to heavy down pour. After the
    landslides, trees were uprooted and 100 of houses
    got destroyed. 20 adults and 10 kids loss their life.
    The victims were devastated. I am going to work
    hand in hand with my friends by collecting and
    donating clothes and blankets. My heart broke
    when I heard many loss their life. Tears rolled
    down my cheek continuously.
