Maria's Rice Casserole

1. Boil water and cook rice and broccoli in two separate sauce pans
2. Cook onion with 1 stick of butter in a large sauce pan
3. Throw in cooked rice and all of the cheese, stirring well to melt. Shut of the heat as cheese is
melting to avoid sticking to the pan.
4. Throw in cream of mushroom soup, milk, and the cooked broccoli and continue to stir.
5. Pour mixture into casserole pan
6. Crush Ritz crackers in a bag, then mix with 1 stick of butter
7. Cover rice/broccoli/cheese mixture with the crushed crackers
8. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 min
