Given the fast progress in the fields of science and technology, the future
generation faces growing challenges in adapting to conventional educational
approaches, as they are no longer satisfying its powerful desire to evolve both
professionally and spiritually in order to create a new and better world. The
traditional ways of teaching are often found too inefficient for the future
generation, as they do not encourage children to reach their true potential by
finding the greatest solutions regarding the problems of a world that it is in
constant change.
Through the I³NEW Competition, the organizer’s aim is to provide a space
where young innovators and inventors can embrace significant values, by
conducting revolutionary research projects that will bring considerable
improvements concerning the current global problems. Moreover, the colors
integrated in the logo of the I³NEW Competition have not been chosen
randomly, but in a manner through which we aspire to outline the main
values that are found of this outstanding international event. For instance,
purple is associated with power, having both earthly and spiritual
significance. In this way, we are willing to express that education is the
greatest tool in combating the appearance of a monotonous environment,
that being the reason for we need to promote thinking outside the box at all
costs. Blue, also known as the color of intuition, inspiration and inner peace
was chosen to express the effects learning has on human mind, combined
with passion being able to become a truly source of spiritual fulfillment. The
symbolism of black, mystery, also showcases how research awakens both our
curiosity and natural desire of improving general knowledge. Finally, white,
symbol of purity and cleanliness, defines the unique perspective education
gives us of the world.
By encouraging participants to create products and conduct scientific
studies, the competition aims to drive positive changes in their respective
societies and ultimately benefit all of humanity.
NWERA Association – New World Education Romanian Association is a non-
governmental educational organization, which aims to promote young people
and children from Romania and other countries, to encourage them to
express their potential and talent, their true value, through non-formal
education methods that encourage team spirit, socialization, personal and
professional development appropriate to the skills and passions they possess.

1. PARTICIPANTs: JUNIORs - ELEmENTARY (7-10, 11-14),
sECONDARY (14-19), UNIVERSITY (19-26).
2. EACH TEAm CAN CONsIsT OF mAxImUm 5 sTUDENTs AND
AT LEAsT 1 sUPERvIsOR.
3. ONLINE JUDgINg wILL LAsT 15 mINUTEs: 7 mINUTEs FOR
THE PREsENTATION AND 8 mINUTEs FOR THE JURY's
qUEsTIONs.
4. THE PROJECTS THAT DO NOT HAVE A VIDEO EXPLAINING
THE INNOVATION, INVENTION, CASE STUDIES, RESEARCH
METHODS OR DEMONSTRATIONS WILL BE DISQUALIFIED.
