EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
DG Sports provides a variety of quality sports equipment, apparel, and
additional services to satisfy the different needs of athletes. DG Sports saw a gap in
the market and aims to close it, believing that many athletes struggle to afford the
right equipment and guidance. Although several popular companies offer quality
equipment, many athletes cannot afford it because of their high costs. DG Sports
differentiates itself by providing affordability along with high-quality products.
DG Sports' major company strategy focuses on its material production,
providing affordable cost and quality control. We will find a high-quality and cheap
supplier to have less expenses and for us to be able to sell it at a low cost. This
includes setting up a factory at a location that will allow efficient production and
storage, specifically at a location that is a bit distant from the city, and it is located in
Purok 1 (specific location) Irisan, Baguio City. At the same time, DG Sports
understands the value of accessibility and intends to open retail shops in important
locations to serve those who love sports like in malls for example in SM Baguio
which many tourist visits. Also, the business will have an effective internet presence,
making it easy for customers to explore and buy things from the comfort of their
households. By using social media platforms just as Facebook and Instagram to
advertise and promote our products by posting pictures of what products and services
we offer here at DG Sports, DG Sports will become more widely known and create a
more active and consistent community. We will deliver our products to our customers
by creating a shipping label online and scheduling a pickup or drop off at a carrier
location just like in J&T Express. Aside from having a physical store and the internet,
DG Sports will also make brochures that show the different products and services that
DG Sports offers, and our staff will hand them out to people. Also, the cost of the
product is among the cheapest and most affordable in the market.
DG Sports wants to establish itself as an athlete's first choice when it comes to
reliable clothing and equipment by combining price, quality, and accessibility. The
company's commitment to reaching many people and building a community of
dedicated sports enthusiasts is shown by its broad approach, which includes both
physical stores and online platforms.
The initial capitalization for the business is Php 306,700 for one month's
expenses. Expected revenue for Year 1 is Php 1,270,900 while the total cost of goods
amounted to Php 4,250,700.
