D. What art form/artwork has had significant impact on your life? Why? Account for the
experience.
- A majorette is a school representative and must act accordingly. It is her responsibility to
develop and sustain school spirit by encouraging fan participation at all school events and
performances, supporting all team players throughout their seasons, and demonstrating
passion via her performances. This is a difficult job, but as a majorette, you must strive hard
to do it. Becoming a majorette was one of my proudest achievements. Trying out for
majorette in my 5th grade year and continuing through my 10th grade year proved to me
that I had a Artwork continues to be art even if it no longer serves a purpose because it
should be admired for its beauty and emotional force rather than its function. And I felt that
art, like the works of our legendary writers, Dr. Jose Rizal, Sionil Jose, Nick Joaquin, and
others, might be a catalyst for change. Their work addresses socio-political themes as well as
the social awakening of Filipinos.
