1. How do you promote nation building in the Philippines?

 Nation-building includes the creation of national paraphernalia such as flags,

coats of arms,anthems, national days, and many more established national
inventions. By making major contributions on science and technology we create
nation building so to promote nation building to filipinos ,it is good to introduce it
to all philippine schools and research facilities.

2. In what way the DOST promote nation building?

 By providing seminars, trainings,and workshops that teaches about researching in

many related things.

3. Who among the former Presidents of the Philippines do you like most in terms of
their contributions in science and technology in nation building? Why?

 President Ferdinand Marcos, although former pres. Marcos stated martial law that
cause many Filipinos to suffer. He is the one who has contributed a lot in terms of
science and technology, he’s also the one who enacted the law of promoting
science and technology in the Philippines. I think that former Pres. Marcos is the
best out of all president without establishing martial law, it is said that in his term
the Philippines was nourished; without corruption and less crimes. Because of
having big funds he is able to establish many buildings and stations.

4. Why people consider the use of technological advancement harmful on the

environment?

 There are technologies that have side effects or bad impacts, not just on own well
being but also in our environment. This is why some people consider it harmful.
It is also proven recently when the establishment of quarantine in the Philippines,
that stop some of factories works and the lessen use of transportations the air
pollution in our society has lessen or have greatly decreased.
