How to Condition Your Hair

If you use a commercial conditioner follow the directions. Usually, you

will be told to apply the conditioner evenly over your hair and leave it
on a few minutes. Rinse it off thoroughly.

If your hair is very dry or damaged you may need a deep conditioner.
Deep conditioners take about 30 minutes to work. For best results,
wrap your hair in a warm towel and sit in the sun or under a warm
dryer. If you have dry hair, deep conditioning should be done about
once a month.

Things to remember about conditioning your hair:

1-Use a conditioner formulated for your type of hair.

2 - Don't “overcondition.” Too much conditioning will leave your hair

limp and hard to set.

3 - You can make a simple, inexpensive conditioner using kitchen oils,

such as sesame, mayonaisse or olive. Just warm the oil and apply it to
your hair. Warning: Oil is very difficult to wash out and it tends to
darken blonde hair.
