Once the metaphysics of my life got laid by looking at the agony of those near me, it started

building the foundation on which I applied the structure. To get started on this, it was essential to
making me aware of the fundamental knowledge of finance, and the IESE business school, the
University of Navarra, with its course Accounting: Principles of financial accounting, came to
my rescue. Under the instructor Marc Badia, I learned about the core heart of accounting and
familiarized myself with the languages managers use to communicate a firm’s financial
information. This course was nobody’s business; it even taught me how to read balance sheets
and statements.

During COVID, when self-isolation became the norm, it clicked to me that the human involved
in the business is as critical as its theories. To assist me with the nature of human involvement, I
took two online courses one was by the University of Virginia: fundamentals of project planning
and management and the other was by the University of Illinois at Urbana-champaign:
foundations of everyday leadership. After spending 24 hours of work on these two courses, I
could indicate and direct my planning for business projects by prioritizing the task according to
their value in the overall scheme. Furthermore, it also taught me how to make the most of a team
under the banner of leadership while maintaining effective communication and motivation to
succeed.

By taking Maths, psychology, and business studies at my A levels, I hugely benefited in

understanding the crucial role of different subject integration. For example, without maths, my
business understanding is incomplete as mathematical-driven equations are a key to solving
complex business models. Psychology is used to understand the consumer's consciousness which
can accurately predict what is required or not in a successful company policy.

Now that I’ve mastered the basics of business management in my own right, it is time to put all
these skills to the test. I used recently developed skills and knowledge play by participating in
the Aitchison college business concept event ABC. By using task prioritization and
communicating with all my team members, we advise a strategy that was impossible to be
defeated as we pitch the product as a healthy energy drink told abt the four Ps of marketing and
named force1 w no added sugar only fruit extracts so used celebrity endorsement Shaheen Afridi
‘force hai to jeet hai’ and launch in Fatah, Jalal sons school canteens thru wholesale and won the
whole category. This victory proved to be a sign that I was on the right path toward and dreams
and aspirations.

It has always been a dream of mine to submerge myself in the intellectual depths of the country,
and there is no one to do it better than LUMS. With the leading state-of-the-art research facility
and a beast output of research, LUMS is my absolute choice for an undergrad degree. The most
appreciative thing for me, rather than studying in a prestigious institute, would be faulty of
SDSB under the honorary dean Alnoor Bhimani who inspired me tremendously through the
recent book that he wrote on financial management for technology startups and accounting
disrupted: how digitization changes to finance. Along with Professor Dr Anjum fayyaz's research
on the role of international donor funding. By constantly improving myself in this respected field
by seeking inspiration from such role models, I look forward to being part of the LUMS family.
