Materials:

Yarn: Worsted weight in 3 colors:

Color 1 (Alien)
Color 2 (UFO seat, legs,
dome top)
Color 3 (UFO body)
Crochet Hook (Size G)
Tapestry needle
Felt for eyes and dots on UFO (or
your preferred type of eyes)
Fiberfill (or your preferred type of
stuffing)
Felt glue (optional)
Sewing thread to match Color 2.

All parts of the alien and UFO are

made in the spiral, there are no
joined rounds. Mark your rounds
with a stitch marker or safety pin.
Gauge is not important as long as
you keep your tension even through
the entire piece. Using a smaller yarn and hook will give you a smaller doll, as well as increasing the size of yarn and
hook will give you a bigger doll.

Abbreviations:
st - stitch
sc - single crochet
inc - increase (place 2 stitches in next stitch)
sc2tog - single crochet 2 stitches together

Lines done in blue are stitches or special directions that are not repeated through out the pattern. Read through
pattern before starting.

The top edge of the seat will fold over on its self, making a ‘lip’ at the top. Using a sewing thread that matches
Color 2 (UFO seat, legs, dome top) sew bottom edge of fold (through back loops only) to main section of seat.
Be sure to keep stitch marker in place as you sew the edge down to ensure a correct count when you resume
crocheting and make your color change.

Slip stitch bottom edge of the body section to the seat. Attach to the loops on the bottom edge of the seat. Put hook
through front loop of body section and then through the loops at the bottom of the seat section. You will have 3 loops
on your hook, pull yarn through all 3 loops. Stuff as you slip stitch around. Fasten off and weave in ends.
