Principles and Practices in Financial Accounting II
Guidelines for the Assignment

1) Total Marks for Course Assignment: 15 Marks

2) The Assignments will be prepared by Group of Learners on the topic allotted by the
Teacher of the respective Class. The Assignment will be assessed on the basis of the
Quality of Content, Caselets referred and extent of Plagiarism. The marks given to the
Project will be the marks scored by each member of the Group. The Assignment will be
given marks as :
Above 75% - Excellent
50% to 74% -Above Average
25 % to 49 %- Below Average
Zero % to 24% - Poor

• The Last Date of Submission of Assignment will be 2 nd January 2024, 5.00

p.m.
• Assignment should be submitted in pdf form only.
• Assignments once submitted will be final and no changes/resubmission will be
allowed.
• A plagiarism Report of Duplichecker is required to be attached.
• A project should have minimum 75% uniqueness. Any project having
uniqueness less than 75% will not be accepted for assessment.

3) Format of Assignment :
▪ Cover Page (Use attached Proforma)
▪ Table of Contents (Including page numbers and disclosure of name of
Learner against the content contributed by him/her)
▪ Introduction
▪ Core Content (Point wise )
▪ Conclusion/Summary of assignment.
▪ Bibliography
 4) The project/assignment should be having minimum FIVE pages and Maximum TEN
pages (including Cover Page, Index, Bibliography) of A4 size paper, typed in Times
New Roman with font size 12, Line and paragraph spacing of 1.5. Headings can be font
size 14.
5) Page layout can be Normal, Top, Bottom, Left, Right 2.54 CM, This is generally a
default setting of word document. However students are advised to check Layout
Margins.
