Descriptive Question

1. Brief about the Various Types of Training Methods in an organization.

Answer

There are various types of training methods that an organization can use to train its employees.
Some of the common types are:

 Instructor-led training: This is a traditional method where an instructor delivers the training
content to a group of learners in a classroom or online setting. The instructor can use slides,
videos, handouts, or other materials to explain the concepts and skills. This method is suitable
for large groups, complex topics, or interactive sessions.
 On-the-job training: This is a practical method where employees learn by doing their actual
work tasks under the guidance of a supervisor or mentor. The supervisor or mentor can provide
feedback, coaching, and support to help the employee improve their performance and
skills. This method is suitable for developing specific skills, solving problems, or adapting to new
situations.
 Coaching or mentoring: This is a personal method where an experienced employee (coach or
mentor) helps a less experienced employee (coachee or mentee) achieve their goals and

self-paced or instructor-led. The advantage of this method is that it allows employees to learn
at their own convenience and pace from anywhere with an internet connection.
 Simulation: This is an experiential method where employees practice their skills in a simulated
environment that mimics real-life scenarios. The simulation can be virtual reality (VR),
augmented reality (AR), gamified learning (GML), etc. The simulation allows employees to apply
their knowledge and skills in realistic situations without risking any harm or loss of time.

objectives, budget, time frame, learner preferences, etc. Therefore, it is important for an
organization to choose the best type of training method for each employee based on their
