Sample for End-pf-Semester Project Reflection:

 What did you find out from research? How did this help to decide on the project? How did
you research? (primary or secondary research) (present your own findings – if secondary
research, remember to give references)

Our research showed that students want to eat healthy foody, but still very much
enjoy unhealthy food options. This helped us to formulate our survey questions. We
used mostly primary research, but we also used secondary research, which was
mostly done online. (put in your souces)

 How did your work processes affect the project? (work processes include – research,
sharing your findings, how you behaved in meetings, whether you were on time with your
tasks)What did you do well? Not so well? How did that affect the project / the Outcome?

We had a team leader (say the team leader’s name) who assigned different tasks to
each team member. All the team members were cooperative and eagerly shared
their findings. Everyone was well-behaved and cooperative, even though all our
team members didn’t stick to the time-lines and due dates that the team leader gave
us. I think we did our research very well, but we didn’t get enough replies to our
survey, which was due to laziness and not planning well enough as well as the fact
that we had a lot of other work for different subjects to do.

 Were you a good helpful team member? Did you behave well or badly? How did this affect
the other members of your team / the project / the Outcome?

We were all supportive and I believe that I was responsible and did my part and
shared my findings. I also provided good support for my other team members. I think
my behavior had a positive effect on my other team members, but I could have done
my work earlier which would have given me the chance to help my other teammates.

 How did the team work together? What were the advantages of working as a team? What
were the problems? Did you help others with their work? Did they help you? Did you have
to ask for help? How did this affect the project? Did it help you achieve your aims?

We had a good vibe in our team, but it is clear that some students prefer to work
alone while others enjoy working as a team. The challenge is to adjust and to be
respectful of the way that other students prefer to work. At times, you had to wait for
someone else to finish their part before we could go on and start the next part of the
project. Some students were more helpful than others. It affects how quickly we can
finish our project when you rely on the work of other students. I think I should also
ask for help more often. Communication between team members is very important.

 How well did your Outcome meet your aim?

Our outcome didn’t meet our aim, but we learned a lot and we can be more
successful next time.

 Which elements of the Outcome were less successful?

We didn’t have enough data to make an accurate conclusion because we didn’t get
enough survey results. We need to start working immediately next time. We waited
too long before starting.

 How could you improve the Outcome so that it would be more successful?

 How would you improve your work processes if you had to complete the project again?

We need to split up the work into smaller parts, start immediately and meet up more
regularly in order to do better.

 What have you learnt from the project? What have you learnt about other different
cultural perspectives? What have you learnt about the issue you researched? (Remember
to present your own findings.)

We learned that growing food to be self-sufficient is a complicated process. Getting enough

food for students at Vinschool is also expensive and it is not easy to make sure that all meals
are delicious and still nutritious and not bad for our health. I think cultural perspectives
affect what kind of food people enjoy and are willing to eat and it is not easy keeping
everyone satisfied and happy.

Your Final submission should look like this:
