Assembly

The Head
To create the point on the tip of the ear, use the tapestry needle to draw the long tail through the inside of the ear
up to the top 2 or 3 rows from the tip.

limited number and you give credit to the designer. Please add the following lines to your item description and any item you are selling: “This item is handmade by
(your name) from a design and pattern by Kitsumara Hana”.
Then sew from side to side, pinching the tip together. Then bring the yarn back through the piece down to the
bottom.

Do this to both ears, then sew the ears onto the side of the head piece. The best practice is to hold the ears to the
sides of the head to see where they need to be. Feel free to pin them in place, if needed. Then sew them into
place, tucking the ends into the head to hide the tail.

limited number and you give credit to the designer. Please add the following lines to your item description and any item you are selling: “This item is handmade by
(your name) from a design and pattern by Kitsumara Hana”.
You can also sew the openings of each piece together to make the sewing easier, but it is not necessary.
After you have sewn on the ears, sew the smaller ears on next. They go on the very top of the head toward the
center.

The Body
Next sew the head onto the body.
You can sew the opening on the head closed if you want at this point.
Next sew the tail onto the body.
Now sew the legs onto the body on either side of the body near the tail.

For the arms, first sew on the fingers, 3 to an arm.

Make sure that the thumb finger is on the opposite side of each arm, otherwise it would look weird.

limited number and you give credit to the designer. Please add the following lines to your item description and any item you are selling: “This item is handmade by
(your name) from a design and pattern by Kitsumara Hana”.
Now you can sew the arms onto the body, beneath the head on either side of the body.

Now it should start looking like Ori.

Next you can cut out small pieces of felt for eyes, nose and eye highlight.
Take the two large pieces (about 1 inch square) of black felt and place them together. Take scissors and shape
the eyes as best as you can. Kind of oval like that is narrow on one side. It may take a few tries, so keep some
extra felt handy.

Next, cut the white felt into 2 small circles (about less than half an inch).

Using Tacky, fabric or super glue; glue the highlight to the eye. Placement of the highlight should be toward the
front of the eye, down toward the nose.

Take a smaller piece of black felt and cut it into a triangle (about less than half an inch). Then round off the
points of the “base” of the triangle.

Using Tacky, fabric or super glue, place the nose on the front of the head. Then do the same for the eyes.

And there you have it. Hope this all makes sense, the original Ori I created was a huge mash of different
patterns that I kind of made up as I went. Have fun!!!
