Create, Change and Display a General Task List IA05

Purpose
Use this transaction to create, change or display a general task list. This type of task list, do not
refer to a specific technical object (functional location or a piece of equipment). They also enable
the ability to define and manage sequences of maintenance tasks centrally, and allow them to be
used for work scheduling.

General maintenance task lists also assist in the preparation maintenance plans and orders.
Furthermore, they may be used to reduce the amount of time spent creating equipment task lists.

Prerequisites
The specified Work Center and Planning Plant must exist.

second field of the Group counter.

5. Enter the Planning plant.

6. Click the Work center matchcode.

7. Enter the Plant.

8. Click the button.

10. Click the button.

11. Enter “4” in the Usage field.

Tip: (Optional) Use the Planner


group matchcode to select the
appropriate Planner group.

12. Enter the Planner group.

13. Enter “4” in the Status field.

Information: Select one of the


following System conditions:
 1 – In operation
 2 – Not in operation.

14. Enter the appropriate System


condition.

15. (Optional) Enter the Assembly.

16. Click the button.

Operation Overview

Information: A task list is


composed of a list of operations
(steps) required to complete a
maintenance request. A description
for each operation must be entered
in the General Task List on a
separate line.

19. Enter the Description.

Information: The term "Work"


refers to the amount of time
involved in performing the activity.

20. Enter the Work.

Information: The Un... (Unit)


indicates the unit of measure for the
Work.

21. Enter “HUR” in the Unit field.

22. Use the following table to determine the next step:

Tip: To select a line item, click the


first box to the left of the OP…
(Operation/Activity number) field on
the select line item.

same text used to describe the
Operation, which, also carries over
to the Description field in the
Operation Overview screen.

25. Place the cursor at the end of the


current text line.

26. Press ENTER.

27. Enter the desired Long text, as


required.

28. Click the button.
