‫‪which aims to enhance Safety level‬‬
‫‪in Health, Social, Cultural and Sports‬‬
‫‪Centers and Clubs by explaining‬‬
‫‪general preventative procedures‬‬
‫‪briefly. To get the latest safety‬‬

‫تقــدم هيئــة الوقايــة والســامة فــي الشــارقة‬
‫هــذا الدليــل اإلرشــادي والــذي يهــدف إلــى‬
‫تحســين مســتوى الســامة فــي المراكــز‬
‫والنــوادي الرياضيــة والثقافيــة واالجتماعيــة‬
‫والصحيــة مــن خــال توضيــح إجــراءات‬
‫الوقايــة العامــة وبشــكل مختصــر‪ ،‬ويمكــن‬
‫الرجــوع إلــى الموقــع اإللكترونــي للهيئــة‬
‫للحصــول علــى أحــدث نســخة مــن معاييــر‬

 Swimming Pools ‫أحواض السباحة‬

‫‪obstacles and provided with Emergency and‬‬
‫‪exit lights.‬‬
‫‪Availability of emergency team to assist the‬‬
‫‪occupants in case of emergency.‬‬

 GYM and Health Clubs ‫النادي الصحي‬

Gym equipment to be cleaned and sanitized ‫التنظيــف والتعقيــم الــدوري لألجهــزة واألدوات‬

Electrical Connections
All electrical and mechanical installations to
be designed and installed in accordance
with the standards in United Arab Emirates,
with the knowledge of a specialized technical
authority.
All extensions and wires to be appropriately
insulated.
All generators and electrical transformers
rooms to be insulated from other room and
entrance to be allowed to authorized people
only.

 Fire Fighting Systems and
Smoke Detectors
Install smoke detectors and water sprinkler
covering all levels, passageways, and rooms.
Ensure that fire alarm control panel is free
from any fault.
Ensure that all fire pumps are kept on auto
mode.
Fire alarm manual call point to be installed
and properly distributed.
Provide fire extinguishers through the entire
building.
Fire hoses to be provided and easily reached

Fire Fighting Systems and
Smoke Detectors
Make sure alarm bell is working well and can
be heard around the whole building.
Ensure that all equipment are well maintained
by having a valid contract with civil defense
certified company.
Maintain a valid certificate of compliance from
civil defense for the building at all time.
Install 24/7 smart monitoring system (AMAN).
Never lock fire hose reel cabinet.
Fix stickers to show the latest maintenance
date and the next due date.

 Elevators ‫المصاعد‬

Emergency bells and elevator buttons shall
be working well.
Elevator cabins shall be well-ventilated and
adequately lit.
Make sure a sign of limited weights and
passengers capacity is posted.
Elevators shall be free of vibration and noise.
Carry out routine maintenance for elevator.
Carry out third party inspection from approved
inspection body each 6 months.
Fix emergency contact numbers sign
board that includes (police, civil defense,
ambulance, watchman and elevator
maintenance company).

‫‪Materials not to be stored inside the room.‬‬
‫‪There shall not be any unsafe temporary‬‬
‫‪electrical connection.‬‬
‫‪The room to be air-conditioned.‬‬
‫‪There shall be secure access door for the‬‬
‫ ‪lift room‬‬
‫‪and it shall be locked except for‬‬

 Roof ‫السطح‬

Remove all the AC refrigerant gas cylinders
