Hello everyone, my name is Nguyen Dinh Thanh - a 10th-grade student from Long Phuoc High

School. Today, I would like to introduce to you some basic information about the Resolution of
the 10th Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union in Dong Nai Province, for the
term 2022-2027, as well as some fundamental contents related to youth and digital
transformation in schools.
1. Resolution of the 10th Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union in Dong Nai
Province, term 2022-2027.
The 10th Congress Resolution, term 2022-2027, focuses on three key tasks: revolutionary ideal
education, ethics, cultural lifestyle, igniting the passion for dedication, self-reliance, and
building a prosperous and beautiful Dong Nai Province, a flourishing and happy country. It aims
to promote the proactive, voluntary, creative participation of young people in the development
of the economy and society, harnessing the dynamic and innovative elements of youth union
officials at all levels.
The Resolution also sets out several targets for the upcoming term, such as increasing the
annual youth enrollment rate into youth organizations compared to the previous year, ensuring
compliance with the resolutions of the Provincial Party Committee's Permanent Committee and
the allocation targets of the Central Youth Union. By 2027, over 60% of children and
adolescents will have access to activities that enhance their digital literacy through the
implementation of youth union organizations at higher levels. Additionally, a minimum of 50%
of young people will utilize online public services, and 70% will use electronic payment
accounts. During the term, 25,000 outstanding youth union members will be recommended for
consideration and admission into the Communist Party.
2. Youth and digital transformation in schools:
The working theme for 2023 set by the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union is "Digital
Transformation of Youth Activities." The Youth Month of 2023 carries the theme "Youth
Leading the Digital Transformation." It can be seen as a strong determination of youth
organizations at all levels to innovate, improve the quality of activities, and harness the role and
strengths of youth in implementing digital transformation.
Alongside the Fourth Industrial Revolution, science and technology have played an increasingly
important role in social life, and digitalization has become an inevitable trend. Recognizing the
importance of digital transformation, the dynamic, creative, and technology-savvy youth are
expected to be at the forefront of this transformation, taking charge of building and developing
all fields in the future. In recent times, youth organizations nationwide have actively and
proactively participated in the process of building a digital government and digital society,
enhancing digital capacity for officials, members, and youth.
In the context of advancing technology, digital transformation in education is a topic of interest
and implementation worldwide. However, it is a relatively new concept, and many people still
do not have a clear understanding of it. Digital transformation can be understood as the
application of digital technologies such as software, applications, websites, social networks,
mobile devices, communications, computer systems, automation, artificial intelligence, and
many other technologies to create digital solutions for the challenges that schools are facing.
Given the importance of digital transformation in education, youth play an extremely important
role and can contribute positively to this process. Youth are a group of people who commonly
use technology and have experience in using applications, software, and digital devices in their
daily lives. Applying this experience to learning and work will help improve the effectiveness
and speed of implementing digital transformation in schools.
Furthermore, youth are pioneers in the application of new technologies and the development
of applications, software, websites, social networks, and other digital products. Contributing
ideas and implementing new projects will help improve and enhance education.
Finally, youth can actively contribute to the digital transformation process in schools by
participating in volunteer activities, organizing programming competitions, and creating highly
applicable digital products for education. These activities will provide youth with opportunities
to learn and develop skills while contributing to the promotion of digital transformation in
schools.
Therefore, it is necessary and meaningful for youth to have a clear understanding of the
importance of digital transformation in education and to encourage their active participation in
this process for the future development of education. Understanding this, with a proactive and
creative spirit, the youth members of Long Phuoc High School actively participate in digital
transformation work. The youth members contribute by writing articles on the school's website,
using digital teaching tools, and being exemplary pioneers in designing electronic lesson plans,
researching new information applications for teaching, and sharing with colleagues.
The active participation in digital transformation work has created a movement not only within
the youth members of Long Phuoc High School but also expanded to all teachers in the school.
The above is my contest entry. Thank you for listening!
