1. Initially teachers were not comfortable with the rule of “notebook checking” 2. School timings are too long, and hectic, so teachers can not manage to check the notebooks at school, and can’t even take it to home, because they have to do household chores also. 3. Reception and year 1 have only one free period, so it is bit difficult for them to do checking, and the last 20 minutes after off timing are taken by making the lines of students, and maintaining the discipline. 4. If teacher need any help from fellow teacher during the lecture, then should she first come downstairs/ in principal office to ask permission? 5. Teachers took random evidences, else than planned activities, so for this do we have to go to offices again to ask permission for mobile. 6. If two teachers are frank with each other, and share a strong bond, then there should be no politics against them. (Good fellows turns into good team) 7. Substitute classes should be paid, or canceled, because when teachers have a substitute lecture then their whole day is messed up. 8. Miss-management in brunch, and lunch timings are creating trouble. It should be addressed. 9. Printers are often out of use. It ends up in big mess. Notebook checking issues faced by reception, and year 1: 1. Students of reception, and year 1 have weak memory their minds are not enough mature to remember the things. They forgot what have been taught to them before, so teachers have to do checking on same day, because in this way they can make kids to do corrections. Solutions given by management: 1) Follow the lesson plan. Time of lecture is divided in it. 2) Use your break time for checking. 3) Use starter, and bell activity time for previous day corrections, and also for tests. 4) Within 2 days notebooks should be checked take them to home at 3rd day. 5) Activities are planned, so the evidences. So, you have to inform before the lecture for mobile phones. 6) Do your home work from home else then asking one and another, or use your morning time, and free time. 7) There is no rule of payment for substitute in our contract, and not even it is in any school. 8) Note-book checking is teacher’s responsibility, and everyone has at least one free lecture, and break too. 9) Make one of your students responsible for line making, and for these little things. Make them enough disciplined, and responsible to avoid the off-time disturbance. 10) Agreement has been signed by teachers that they are comfortable with these timings. We have asked priorly about everything. 11) Agreement with teachers in every school is that they are joining the institution from this specific time to that specific time, and within that time period they have to work either it is given responsibility, or substituted lectures. Sureties’ given by management: a) From now on there will be no issue regarding to lunch, and brunch. Ms. Ayesha will make sure that everything will be as per schedule. Even if someday, there will be something then teachers will be informed in morning/ before handed. b) Management will make sure that every teacher gets her print on time. c) Management will provide all the rules list to teachers in order to avoid any future inconvenience. End of the meeting: All concerns, issues, and everything was addressed by the management. Teachers have no more concerns regarding to these mentioned points.
