Narrator:- (Four friends meet at Manasvi’s house after playing.

S1:- Today was so fun! I really enjoyed playing basketball with you guys after such a long time.

S2:- Yeah! You’re right. It’s been such a long time since we were together.

Narrator:- (After chatting some time, Manasvi suggests watching T.V.)

Manasvi:- Guys let’s watch T.V. Do you guys watch National Geographic?

S3:- Who watches National Geographic these days. Let’s watch a movie.

Manasvi:- Trust me guys. You will love it.

(T.V. turns on)

Archaeologist:- Hello everyone and welcome to yet another episode of Wonders around the World. Today we will
see the stunningly beautiful Reunion Island. Did you know that it has an actual active volcano that has erupted and
can erupt at any time in the future as well . It will spew red hot lava down its trenches. Oooh! I can almost feel the
heat!

(Right then ad pops up)

S3:- Aah! I hate ads and right when it was getting interesting.

Manasvi:- See I told you that you’d like it.

S3:- Yeah, Reunion Island is really interesting.

S1:- Did you know, in the past Reunion Island was colonized by the French as was used to produce sugar and coffee.

S2:- The houses that the workers used to live in and their masters houses are still there.

Manasvi:- I heard from my friend from the Reunion that the active volcano there, is 530,000 years old and is
situated in a National Park which is a world UNESCO Heritage Site.

S3:- My friend from there told me that it also has many museums and monuments such as the Old building of Town
Hall maintained in a beautiful condition and the old houses of rich merchants.

S2:- I also got to know that Reunion Island is famous for its rum and vanilla. I love vanilla.

S1:- Their architecture is strongly influenced by French architecture as they were the colonizers there and there are
many old buildings in this style which are colourfully painted. It is truly a sight to behold.

S3:- The island itself is so amazing and beautiful and so are the people.

Manasvi:- Wouldn’t it be a wonderful treat if got to go there and experience all of it?

S2:- Yes and we get to meet our friends in person.

S1:- And also see beauty and cultural elements of the Reunion.

S3:- I hope we get to go someday. Let’s do it, who’s in on this plan?
