Which Course is Right for YOU?


All of our courses aim to increase confidence both linguistically
and personally through communication activities and focus on
teamwork and cultural sharing as well as the more traditional
aspects of language learning. English Language Levels:
Please check the English language level and age requirements for
each course, then look at the activities that go alongside the English CEFR Level Pre A1 - Beginner
to ensure they are right for you, before completing the enrolment
form. Courses at beginners’ level are offered to Young Learners and CEFR Level A1 - Elementary
Junior Course students only.

All students will take a placement test on the first day of their
CEFR Level A2 - Pre-Intermediate
course. The student is then put in a class which is best suited to their
age and ability. Weekly teachers’ meetings enable us to check the CEFR Level B1 - Intermediate
progress of each student and to decide whether a change of level is
necessary. CEFR Level B2 - Upper Intermediate
CEFR Level C1 - Advanced

accommodation options at the College ranging from 3 – 6 bedded
rooms to en-suite bedrooms and twin bedded rooms.

For Junior Course students aged 14 - 17 years we also offer


Homestay accommodation in twin bedded rooms.

Adult Course students can stay in a twin or single room at one of


our local Homestays, which are all within walking distance of the
College.

Parents attending the adult course and children attending the


Young Learners or one of the Junior Courses can also stay in hotel,
guesthouse or holiday apartment accommodation.

Harrow House is a perfect environment in which to study, relax and
have fun. In the unrivalled facilities, which are open until late into
the evenings, students are spoilt for choice and can participate in
many after school activities.

Students can compete in sports activities, train in the fitness


centre, play games, participate in competitions and organised
theme parties, attend the conversation club or enjoy the disco and
karaoke.

Adult and Junior students can take part in a range of separate


evening activities. Staff are always available to help students
organise local and national entertainment and regularly attend
events alongside students.
