Senior Manager (SM)


The Senior Manager (SM) will collaborate with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) in setting and
driving organizational vision, operational strategy and hiring needs. He will be responsible in
translating strategy into actionable goals for performance and growth helping to implement
organization-wide goal setting, performance management and annual operating planning as well as
oversee company operations and employee productivity, building a highly inclusive culture ensuring
team members thrive and organizational outcomes are met.

Job Description

i) Design and implement business strategies, plans and procedures.


ii) Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth.
iii) Establish policies that promote Company culture and vision.
iv) Oversee daily operations of the Company including but not limited to Admin/HR, Sales/Marketing,
Accounts/Finance and Information Technology.
v) Lead employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication.
vi) Evaluate performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics.
vii) Participate in expansion activities (investments, acquisitions, corporate alliances etc.).
viii) Provide management to staff and leadership to the organization that aligns with the
company’s business plan and overall strategic vision.
ix) Assist executive team members in creating, growing and building a world class, industry leading
organization.
x) Drive company results from both an operational and financial perspective working closely with the
CEO and other key executive team members.
xi) Partner with the Head of Accounts to achieve favorable financial results with respect to sales,
profitability, cash flow, mergers and acquisitions, systems, reporting and controls.
xii) Set challenging and realistic goals for growth, performance and profitability.
xiii) Create effective measurement tools to gauge the efficiency and effectiveness of internal and
external processes.
xiv) Provide accurate and timely reports outlining the operational condition of the Company.
xv) Spearhead the development, communication and implementation of effective growth strategies and
processes.
xvi) Work with other executives on budgeting, forecasting and resource allocation programs.
xvii) Work closely with senior management team to create, implement and roll out plans for
operational processes, internal infrastructures, reporting systems and company policies all designed
to foster growth, profitably and efficiencies within the company.
xviii) Drive Sales/Marketing team efforts and expected to make sales as well
xix) Motivate and encourage employees at all levels as one of the key leaders in the company
including but not limited to professional staff, management level employees and executive
leadership team members.
xx) Forge strategic partnerships and relationships with clients, vendors, banks, investors and all other
professional business relationships.
xxi) Foster a growth oriented, positive and encouraging environment while keeping employees
and management accountable to company policies, procedures and guidelines.
xxii) Report directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Senior Manager’s Top Skills & Proficiencies:

 A strong leader with proven success with managing teams.


 Good Listening Skills; Public speaking abilities to communicate with both hourly and salaried
personnel.
 Experience assessing vendors that meet quality, price and delivery specifications.
 Decision making ability; Multi-tasking; Must have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
to accommodate a quick paced environment (a quick thinker).
 Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills in dealing with those both internal and external to the
company are critical to success.
 Listens and gets clarification.
 Knowledge of Federal, State and Local Government regulations, labor relations,
selecting/interviewing/recruiting.
 Demonstrated competence in Demand Planning and Scheduling, Importation processes and
experience with work-related tools.
 Strong business acumen and project management skills well versed in Continuous Improvement.
 Strong aptitude and laser focus on budgeting, cost control, and cost savings.
 Understands the position purpose and responsibilities and has a good understanding of how
Planning, Finance, Procurement, Product Safety and Quality functions interact and impact each
other.
