PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Objective
‣ Help students understand practical logistics and management.
‣ Identify different logistics functions or activities.
‣ Accumulate experiences.
Team project
‣ Each team includes 6- 8 people
‣ Each team will discuss and make a choice of one favorite product or service.
‣ Analyzing the logistics management of product or service
‣ The groups search for information about their topic, collect and analyze data for the given
topic, and make evaluations and conclusions
- Introduction
- Demand management and planning
- Procurement
- Managing inventory flow
- Transportation system
- Distribution channel
‣ Teams write and present your report.

Requirements
Team project’s product includes:
- A report (hard copy):
. The content of the report must be at least 8 pages long (excluding table of
contents and references).
‣ Introduction
‣ Current issue or problem
‣ Propose the solution
‣ Conclusion

. The cover page should show information related to the subject, the name
of the lecturers, the project, the selected topic, and the team members
(including students' IDs)
. Clear structure, unified form (table of contents, heading titles, page
numbers, etc.)
. Use Vietnamese or English (need to unify one language)
. Print in black and white, 2 sides
- Presentation (All members must attend the presentation- Group gives %
participate for each student in the report):
. Presentation time: 15 mins
. Discussion: ~ 15 mins

Important timelines
- Date of assignment: week 1
- Presentation date (random selection): week 15

Evaluation Criteria
- Report (hard copy): 60%

. Brief topic introduction (no more than 300 words)
. Content includes data analysis, comparison, evaluations and conclusions,
and suggestions

. Font: time new roman; font style: regular (only bold for heading and levels);
font size of 12 for body and font size 14 for title; font color: black
. page setup (2.5 cm x 2.5 cm x 2.5 cm x 2.5 cm)
. page: normal
. line spacing: multiple at 1.25
. header and footer: 1.25 cm
. page number with bottom of page (plain number 2)
. tables and figures must be numbered sequentially
. the names of the tables are written briefly, relative to the table's contents,
and placed at the top of each table
