Ru Paul’s Drag Race - Season 6 – Top 5 Favorite Drag Queens

Recently, one of my best friends has been obsessed with the reality show, Ru Paul's
Drag Race. In case you haven't heard of it, it's a reality TV competition between drag
queens. They are set to complete different challenges to prove who is the best drag queen.
Each week one of the contestants leaves the show, which is the contestant who did the
worst in that week's challenge, and there is also a winner. The challenges can be acting,
dancing, singing, or just creating a look based on a theme. The show has various judges,
but they just give their opinion and make corrections to the drag queens, but the one who
has the last word on who stays and who goes is Ru Paul who is also a drag queen.

My friend wanted me to watch the show so I could talk about it with her but I never got
to it. Recently I stayed over at her house, and she talked me into binge watching her
favorite season, season 6.

At the beginning, I was a little skeptical about the show and I wasn't expecting
much from it, but once we began watching it I really liked it and found it really
entertaining. I ended up loving the show, so I decided that I was going to rate my top 5
favorite drag queens of the season and tell you why I like them.

#5 Laganja Estranja

I really really liked Laganja. She was actually won one of the challenges and got into the
top 2 in other challenges, so in her way through the show, she didn't actually do as bad.

I really liked her personality. She was extremely funny, just the way she spoke had me
cracking up. When it came to the challenges my favorite one was when they had to create a
look under the category "animal kingdom". She chose to do a butterfly look and I just loved
the dress.

#4 Milk

Milk was different than all of the other queens. Her looks were always bold. By bold I
mean REALLY different from any of the other queens. She went for more artistic looks, so
it was all really different. She actually didn't get that far in the competition, but I wish she
had done better.

Surprisingly without all of the makeup and drag queen looks, he is hot. I say
"surprisingly" because with all of the makeup and dresses his face was just hidden, so I
didn't expect him to be good looking below all of that.

My favorite look from Milk is the one from the challenge where all the drag queens had
to re-create a look form Ru Paul. All of them chose the drag queen looks, but Milk went for
the normal, suit and tie Ru. He was criticized by some of the judges by that, but I actually
loved it. He actually looked like Ru Paul.
#3 Darienne Lake

Through the whole season, I found myself obsessed with Darienne and I think that was
because she was extremely funny and everything she did made me laugh. She actually got
fourth place, which is really good, and through the show, she found herself at the top most
times.

In one of the challenges, the drag queens had to act out a scene of a scary comedy that
was given to them. One of the characters was just a head that was alive, and of course,
Darienne took the part, and I have to say that her expressions were the best, and she
definitely made that scene much better.

When it comes to looks, she had a couple that were really good, but definitely, my
favorite has to be the one from the animal kingdom challenge where she decided to go as an
elephant. I just found it amazing, and my favorite part were the earrings.

#2 Bianca del Rio

If there was someone who stood out throughout the whole show was Bianca del Rio. She
was ALWAYS on point. Every single outfit she wore and every single challenge she
completed was amazing. She is a really talented designer and she is extremely funny, and
that's basically all you need on a drag queen. That's why she won.

My favorite challenge she completed was "The Snatch Game". There, the drag queens
had to pick a celebrity or a character to impersonate and be funny with it. Bianca chose
Judge Judy, and I have to say that she did an amazing job with it and made everything
funny.

When it comes to looks, my favorite one was the one from the challenge of the jewels.
Each drag queen got a different jewel assigned to them and had to create a look based on it.
Bianca got sapphire, and her blue dress was amazing.

#1 Adore

My favorite drag queen of all was Adore. I don't know why, but since the first episode,
she caught my attention. Her looks, her laugh, her makeup, her personality, just everything
she did was amazing. I don't know if it was because she was like adorable or something, but
I always considered her my favorite.

My favorite Adore challenge was the one where they had to write a rap based on them
and then record a music video for it. She actually did really good and her rap was really
funny. It's an actual song out there if you want to look for it, it's called Sissy That Walk.

I loved like most of her looks, but my favorite one was kitty eleganza, which basically
means like a tacky look, and she did amazing. She managed to look tacky and amazing at
the same time, which is harder than it looks, but she was able to pull it off.
