1. PRODUCT PACKAGING
 QR codes on all IKEA products will lead to an interactive list for use by store
shoppers.
 Promote customer engagement and brand awareness, as well as knowledge
about the product itself. The more transparency, the more customer is going
to trust and continue to purchase instead of choosing anther brand.
 Allow the target audience to easily keep track of their purchases and
locations in product pick up areas and help customers keep track of their
purchases.

2. SALES PROMOTION TACTICS


 Implement an IKEA customer loyalty program. A loyalty program where
customers are rewarded for purchasing IKEA product. The program will be
designed as follows:
a) The customers and sale information will be kept in a digital format
b) Based on ringgit amounts, not quantity of product purchased.
c) When customers reach milestones, they will receive a coupon in the
mail for a discount on next purchase or free shipping.
 Implement a sales promotion that rewards customers who are not located
near an IKEA store to encourage customers who do not live near an IKEA
store to make a “day trip” and purchase more IKEA product for their homes.
Customers will drive to the nearest IKEA store with proof of address.
