LEARNING COMMUNITIES
Teaching in a Learning Community format requires increased coordination, collaboration,
flexibility and open-mindedness. It also strengthens my understanding of how different
departments operate, the needs of students in various programs, and the importance of
strong connections among faculty both within and among departments.

activities that allow me to learn more about the college and its programs, challenge myself to
grow through new experiences, and find ways to support my colleagues and our students.

CLUB ADVISEMENT
Through clubs and other student groups that meet outside of traditional classroom settings, I
am able to develop dynamic connections with students, giving me further opportunities to
identify and meet their needs.
GRANTS AWARDED
I believe there is always room for improvement within a system. I’ve proposed and been
awarded several Innovation Grants to make valuable and useful updates to our services in
order to better support our students.
