Good day!

I am writing to proceed with our discussion regarding the importance of a Social Media manager.

My experience in marketing, along with my aptitude for creativity and track record, will successfully meld with the
operations of the organization. It was one of the most memorable experiences of my life to be a member of your
organization when I was still growing as a student. It would be an absolute pleasure to rejoin the organization, this
time, as a Young Professional and part of the team.

The job of the Social Media Manager is to administer the social accounts to create original multimedia content
paralleling the mission and vision of Young Focus to achieve the organization’s goal. Ultimately, to ensure a
positive social media presence to maximize the potential impact.

Responsibilities

 Research current trends and audience preferences in order to suggest and implement them in Social Media
postings.
 Plan & develop a Social Media Content Calendar for relevant social platforms in order to increase online
presence that would potentially impact not only the fundraising but the message and the influence of the
organization itself. Examples of the content are the following but not limited;
o Generating or sharing daily or weekly engaging text, photo, videos, or news
o Promotional Video of an interesting and impactful story of a student, an event in the community, or an
activity of Young Focus for the beneficiaries. Ex. 1-minute series
o Create Ad Materials for future or recent events such as fundraising posters, etc.
o Documentation/Photo taking of events for FB postings

 Collaborate with different programs to develop and amplify campaigns conducted throughout the company
to include company messages and partnerships, and balance the social media posting for each program.

Skills

 Hands-on experience in content management

 Ability to deliver creative multimedia content
 Familiarity with web design
 Excellent communication skills
 Efficient multitasking skills
