CONSTRUCTING OF PICNIC DECK

1) GENERAL

1.1 This work Method Statement is for Proposed Construction of Timber Deck
The Timber Decking shall consist of Wpcc-dh-14530 (ew20) hollow
composite timber deck of size 145mm(w) x 30mm(t) x 2000mm(l) complete
with aluminium batten and 'L' angle.
1.2 All RC Structure to be constructed of min, concrete grade 25 including
foundation, excavation, column, slab, reinforcement, formwork, 50mm lean
concrete,100mm thk crusher run
1.3 BM shall cart away debris to own dump site

2) SITE RESPONSIBILITY
2.1 From start till completion of works

i. Adequate protection of materials delivered


ii. Avoid any damage i.e erosion of slope etc whilst executing works
iii. Upkeep surrounding area in clean and tidy condition
iv. Periodically remove all surphis excavation and waste materials and to
dump at approved site
v. To do proper and accurate setting out of all works to the satisfaction of
SO / Client Representative
vi. BM to adhere all site staff to the safety and environmental procedure.

3) MACHINERY , TOOLS , MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENTS

3.1 BM shall provide all machineries, materials, including backhoe , excavator,


lorries and necessaries equipments for the purpose of constructing the Timber
Decking.

4) SEQUENCE OF WORKS

4.1 To do setting out as per location shown in drawing


4.2 To excavate and do well compacted sub grade works upon complete subgrade
works, shall lay 100mm thk crusher run to compaction, before topup 50mm
thk lean concrete
4.3 To erect Footing Steel and column
4.4 Proceed formwork for column until ground level
4.5 To concrete all column
4.8 Proceed formwork for Beam H’
4.9 To concrete all Beam H’
4.10 Proceed formwork for column until Beam v’
4.11 To concrete all Beam V’
4.12 Proceed formwork for for slab
4.13 To concrete all slab
4.14 To lay and install timber deck as per approved by SO/Client Representative
