PRESENT SIMPLE TENSE (THÌ HIỆN TẠI ĐƠN)

1. Usage: - diễn tả 1 sự thật, chân lý

Eg: The earth goes around the sun.
- diễn tả 1 thói quen, 1 hành động thường làm ở hiện tại
Eg: I always do morning exercise after getting up.
2. Form
* to be -> am / is/ are
(+) I + am …..
He, she, it, N(singular) + is …….
You, we, they, N(plural) + are ……….
(-) S + am/ is/ are + not …….
(?) (Wh_) + am/ is/ are + S ………..?
Eg: I (be) am from Viet Nam, where (be) are you from?
My mother (not be) isn’t a nurse, she (be) is a dentist.
* Verb: Động từ thường
(+) I, you, we, they, N(plural) + V….
He, she, it, N(singular) + V(s/es)……
( - thêm- es khi ĐT kết thúc = o,x,z,s,sh,ch
- ĐT kết thúc = phụ âm và “y” thì chuyển y -> i, thêm es)
(-) I, you, we, they, N(plural) + don’t + V….
He, she, it, N(singular) + doesn’t + V….
(?) (Wh_) + do + I, you, we, they, N(plural) + V …?
(Wh_) + does + he, she, it, N(singular) + V….?
Eg: + Every day, I (get up) get up at 6 o’clock.
+ My brother often (catch) catches the bus to school.
