ADDITIONAL NOTES ABOUT EFFLUENTS:

Chemical water discharged into trenches has to be treated before being disposed of
Effluents are composed by the continuous and discontinuous effluents of the plant and have to be treated before being disposed of:
- Discontinuous effluents come from drains, cleaning, manufacturing and operational activities. These could be: neutral oils / fatty acids, caustic soda, water (city / tap water and softened water), brine (NaCl), EDTA, EHDP, glycerine, soap, steam, instrument and compressed air pipelines impurities and all the additives used for the soap production. Other could be the lubricant
oils and greases foreseen commonly for motors and gear reducers, but also the detergents to clean the floor and chemical reagents for soap quality control (i.e. phenolphthalein).
- Continuous effluents: condensate from semibarometric condenser C 2062.03's overflow (discharged continuously through LV 206.1), steam condensate, condensate from conveying air refrigerator E 2502.01 and vaccum pump P 2062.01
There is no special / additional production of waste water during shut-down
