Note : at earlier stage when the first briefing session held by our
Program Coordinator, 2 participants withdraw and we immediately
replace with our pool participants. List of participants are from asnaf
list provided by Management Office in PPR Melana Phase 1 and
Phase 2
Activity Outcome A meeting session between the participants and the Social
(Explain the outcome from the Hero Foundation regarding the vision and objectives of the
activities conducted) community garden project as well as discussing the
commitment required throughout the project.
Participants Feedback 10 participants have been selected.

Challenges Faced 2 participants withdraw and were replaced by another
participant.

Sesi perjumpaan antara peserta dengan rakan solusi mengenai visi dan objektif projek
kebun komuniti serta membincangkan tentang komitmen yang diperlukan sepanjang projek
dijalankan. Para peserta adalah mereka yang dipilih di kalangan asnaf / B40 yang tinggal di
PPR tersebut. Setelah taklimat, seorang peserta menarik diri dan digantikan dengan peserta
yang lain. Selain itu, peserta diberi taklimat berkaitan gimik pelancaran Kebun Komuniti
yang akan berlangsung bersama program anjuran Angkatan Pertahanan Awam Negeri Johor
melalui Majlis Perasmian Madani Siaga yang akan berlaku pada 8/9/2023.

Activity2:

this month briefly) organized by Angkatan Pertahanan Awam Negeri Johor (APM)
Activity Outcome The solution partner together with one of the representatives

Project: M.I.S.H.A Project from TPM YAB Datuk Seri Dr Zahid
Hamidi and the presentation of the certificate of participation
as a M.I.S.H.A project participant.

Challenges Faced 1. As most of the participants have their own personal work
and daily task, we have created a WHATSAPP Group for
them to discuss and choose the suitable date for 1st training
session.

Pada Majlis Perasmian gimik Pelancaran Projek Kebun Komuniti Majlis Madani Siaga pada 8/9/2023 Jumaat
lepas, rakan solusi bersama salah seorang wakil peserta kebun komuniti naik ke pentas menerima gimik
pelancaran Projek Kebun Komuniti : Projek M.I.S.H.A. En Ishak bin Rajab mewakili para peserta lain menerima
sijil dan simbolik bongkah cendawan dari YAB Timbalan Perdana Menteri.
Selesai majlis pelancaran sesi perjumpaan bersama para peserta dan penyampaian sijil penyertaan sebagai
peserta projek M.I.S.H.A.

Activity 3:
(Explain the activities conducted for First Training (Introduction to mushroom plants)

Activity Outcome Introduction to SHF and the importance of the 17 sustainable

activities conducted) Training is also provided with the involvement of suppliers and
young entrepreneurs who are knowledgeable in mushrooms. In
addition, the participants signed the Pledge and agreed to fully
commit to this project for 10 months. The supplier also visited
one of the units in one of the blocks to know approximately the
measurement of mushroom racks (18 x 15)

Challenges Faced 1. Most of them are unfamiliar with mushroom chunks but
are excited to learn and explore more about the
activities.
2. Some participants lack of interest, time, or knowledge
about agriculture and mushroom activities.

Our 1st training session with all 10 participants at PPR Melana Indah
with business owner and grower Mr Saidan.

The "M.I.S.H.A Project (MUSHROOM, INVESTMENT, SOCIAL, HERO,
AGRICULTURE): COMMUNITY GARDEN" aims to generate income
(#sustainability) and serve as a special food security guarantee
(#foodsecurity) for urban poor residents, especially for vulnerable
groups such as single mothers, from the B40 category, etc., with a
primary focus on introducing easy-to-manage mushroom cultivation.

Activities : Latihan Pertama (Pengenalan kepada tanaman cendawan)

Tempat : Bilik 1, Dewan PPR MELANA INDAH FASA 2
Pengenalan kepada SHF dan kepentingan 17 matlamat pembangunan mampan yang telah dikongsikan kepada
rakan solusi. Dengan tagline #NoOneLeftBehid para peserta kini memahami fokus utama projek ini dilakukan di
kawasan mereka. Pengarah Program juga berkongsi mengenai kepentingan serta objektif projek kebun
komuniti. Penerangan tersebut juga melibatkan sokongan organisasi kepada matlamat nasional (UNSDG17
goals) iaitu 1, 2, 3, 8, 11 dan 17.
Latihan juga diberikan dengan penglibatan pembekal dan usahawan muda yang arif dalam cendawan iaitu
Encik Saidan yang telah memulakan sendiri perniagaan ini sejak 2019 selepas berhenti kerja dengan agensi
badan berkanun di Johor.
Sesi latihan beliau melibatkan pengenalan kepada cendawan, jenis-jenis cendawan yang sesuai ditanam di
Malaysia, kebolehpasaran cendawan tiram dan aspek-aspek penting yang perlu diambil tahu dalam menjaga
bongkah cendawan. Para peserta dilihat sangat teruja untuk mendalami selok belok pengusahaan cendawan
ini dengan lebih lanjut. Sesi latihan kedua akan dilakukan hujung bulan ini di tempat pembekal sendiri.
Selesai sesi latihan dan minum petang, para peserta menandatangani Aku Janji sekaligus bersetuju
memberikan komitmen sepenuhnya terhadap projek ini. En Saidan dibawa pula ke cadangan tapak lokasi dan
lawatan ke unit kedai. Permohonan kelulusan tapak lokasi telah dihantar ke Perbadanan Kemajuan Perumahan
Negeri Johor dan sedang menunggu kelulusan dari YB Exco. Semoga dipermudahkan urusan ini.

Projek "PROJEK M.I.S.H.A, (MUSHROOM, INVESTMENT, SOCIAL, HERO, AGRICULTURE): KEBUN KOMUNITI"
bertujuan untuk menjana pendapatan (#sustainability) dan sebagai jaminan makanan (#foodsecurity) khas
kepada penduduk miskin bandar, terutama kepada golongan asnaf seperti ibu tunggal, dari kategori B40 dll
dengan fokus utama memperkenalkan tanaman cendawan yang mudah diuruskan.

3.0 Impacts and Lesson Learnt

2. Helping B40 by giving chance to generate more income for
vulnerable community.

business in bigger scale in mushroom business.
