Procedure for SI 10 of 2022- Safari vehicles and Tour Buses

Section 3 Safari Vehicles

 Obtain the form from Ministry of Finance Cnr 4th and Samora Machel office
B326 at a cost of U$20 or bank rate equivalent
 Fill in the first section of the form and attach your invoices
 Take the form to Tourism Business Council for Zimbabwe at No 129 Baines
Avenue (Cnr 4th and Baines) so that they fill in their section.
 Take the form to ZTA, Tourism House 55 Samora Machel Avenue, with the
attachment of the ZTA licenses.
 Take form to Ministry of Environment, Climate, Tourism and Hospitality
Industry, John Bowen House Cnr Speak and Innez Terrace, 6th floor.
 Take the form back to Finance for approval.
 When approved you take it to ZIMRA and get the rebate letter
 Processing time approximately 2 weeks for whole process.
Section 4 (1-10) Buses for Tour Operators
 Obtain a support letter from Tourism Business Council of Zimbabwe
 Obtain a recommendation letter from Ministry of Environment, Tourism
and Hospitality Industry at John Bowen House 6th floor Director Tourism
Development.
 Take the support letter from TBCZ and recommendation letter from METHI
to Ministry of Finance.
 Also attach your Certificate of Incorporation, Tax clearance and Invoices to
MoF
 Obtain approval from Finance which you then take to ZIMRA for rebate.

Procedure for SI 222 of 2022 Capital Goods

 Obtain the form from Ministry of Finance Cnr 4th and Samora Machel office
B326 at a cost of U$20 or bank rate equivalent
 Fill in the first section of the form and attach your invoices
 Take the form to Tourism Business Council for Zimbabwe at No 129 Baines
Avenue (Cnr 4th and Baines) so that they fill in their section.
  Take the form to ZTA, Tourism House 55 Samora Machel Avenue, with the
attachment of the ZTA licenses
 Take form to Ministry of Environment, Climate, Tourism and Hospitality
Industry, John Bowen House Cnr Speak and Innez Terrace, 6th floor.
 Take the form back to Finance for approval.
 When approved you take it to ZIMRA and get the rebate letter
 Processing time is approximately 2 weeks for whole process.

NB:
 For goods stipulated in SI 164 of 2016 you still need to obtain an import
license from Ministry of Industry and Commerce in Harare
 Restaurants are not legible for SI 222 of 2022.
 Lodges and car hire cannot import vehicles under SI 276 of 2019 only
those registered as Safari operators and Tour Operators are legible.
