The UPS model used in the Zungeru Industrial TV system is AHA-10K / BT
with a capacity of 10 KVA and TOBTAK production.

1.UPS
Basic composition: rectifier, battery, inverter, protection control circuit the
role of static switch: the function of static switch is to cut off the faulty
power output, do the uninterrupted switch between inverter output and
mains bypass output. Features: no contact open and off, close circuit
according to the different working mode of uninterruptible power supply,
UPS is divided into backup type and online type.

When the backup UPS uninterruptible power supply is normal, the first
municipal power charges the battery through the rectifier, while the
other municipal power initially absorbs part of the grid interference
through the automatic regulator, and then it is directly provided to the
user by the bypass conversion switch. When the grid voltage or grid
frequency exceeds the input range of UPS, that is, under abnormal
circumstances, the input of alternating current is cut off, the charger
stops working, the battery is discharged, the inverter begins to work
under the control of the control circuit, and the UPS power supply
system is converted to a battery inverter to continue to supply power to
the load. Features: Inverters are not often online

1.UPS
Online UPS uninterrupted power supply mains and electrical equipment
are isolated, and mains will not supply power directly to the electrical
equipment. The mains is converted to direct current, and then divided
into two ways, one way to charge the battery, the other way to
alternating current through the inverter, power supply to the electrical
equipment. When the quality of mains supply is unstable or the power is
out, the battery is converted to alternating current by the inverter, from
charging to power supply. The inverter is involved in the whole process
of electricity consumption. Its advantage is that the output waveform is
pure and it is not affected by the instability of mains. Features: Inverters
are always in line

Operation Procedure
（1）Prior check for startup
Please confirm the conditions as follow.
●Make sure the main breakers and“PUSH ON-OFF switch”are in the OFF.
●Ensure the UPS is in a suitable location.
●All the wires must be connected firmly.
●Make sure the load is disconnected or in the“OFF”position.
●Make sure the input voltage is appropriate and polarity is correct.

（2） Close the AC Output Breaker, DC Input Breaker, Bypass Input Breaker,
and AC Input Breaker of each UPS. Press “PUSH ON-OFF switch” (SW4) to
the position“ON”. The LED of “Input LED ” and “Bypass LED ” should
light up simultaneously. “LCD Display” shows “Starting..., Checking…”.

（3） About 3 seconds later, “LCD Display” shall indicate the AC utility
power and batteries are normal. And the output outlet is supplied via bypass.

（4）About 20 seconds later, “Output LED ” will also illuminate and
“Bypass LED ”fade out at the same time, indicating UPS is operating
correctly. The UPS power is from its inverter to the load.

（5） Disconnect AC input of UPS for blackout simulation, the “Input LED
” will extinguish and UPS beeps every 4 seconds to remind the user AC
failure. This means UPS is in the condition of battery operation.

（6）When the UPS DC discharges to the low voltage alarm, the battery low
voltage indicator light is on, and the LCD shows the battery undervoltage

（7）When the UPS overload occurs, the output overload indicator light is
on, and press the LCD display screen menu button to view the load display
information
