1.What is assessment of Learning?

- Assessment of learning is a process of gathering and analyzing information
about what students know, understand, and can do in order to make judgments
about their learning progress and achievement. It involves the use of various
tools and techniques to measure and evaluate student performance against
established learning goals and standards.

2.How is assessment in learning similar or different from the concepts of

measurement or evaluation of learning?
- Measurement and evaluation of learning are related concepts that are often
used interchangeably with assessment of learning. While they share some
similarities, they also have some distinct differences. Measurement refers to the
process of assigning numbers or scores to represent the level or quality of
student performance, whereas evaluation involves making judgments or
decisions based on the results of assessment. Assessment of learning
encompasses both measurement and evaluation, but also includes the ongoing
process of monitoring and providing feedback to students in order to support their
learning and growth.
