    DOST Biliran PSTO goes to the barangay

    In support to the campaign of the Municipal Government of Naval, through Honorable Mayor
    Gretchen Espina, to be transparent to the constituents and to bring the government’s services to where
    the people are, the DOST-Biliran Provincial Science and Technology Office joined the campaign and went
    to the barangays with the LGU Team.

    Dubbed as, Municipio sa Barangay 2023, the event gathered the municipal government’s basic
    services unit as well as national government agencies providing support to basic services and livelihood
    programs around the different barangays. This week, July 25-27, 2023 the team visited barangays
    Capiñahan, Imelda, and Lucsoon. The DOST PSTO presented various programs including the technology
    transfer, training and consultancy, and laboratory services, and provided information and consultation
    related to technology-based livelihood.
