Dear Parent/Guardian

WHO TO CONTACT

In order to assist parents who need to contact the school on any issue, I have provided a helpful list
below. Please note that your first point of contact should always be your child's teacher who you can
contact by sending a note in or, if necessary, by arranging an appointment.
Matters relating to the progress of children in the Yl & Y2 classes; the behaviour and discipline of
children in the Yl & Y2 classes: Mrs S Dowie (Head of Foundation Stage)
Matters relating to the progress of children in the Y3 & Y4 classes; the behaviour and discipline of
children in the Y3 & Y4 classes: Mrs L Walker (Vice-Principal & Head of Key Stage 1)
Matters relating to the progress of children in the Y5 - Y7 classes; the behaviour and discipline of all
children especially the Y5 - Y7 classes: Mrs J Manogue (Head of Key Stage 2)
Matters relating to Personnel; Finance; Enrolment; Assessment Arrangements; Transfer Procedure;
Resources and the Management of the School: Mr P Campbell (Principal)
It is important that parents have already met and discussed any of the above matters with their
child's class teacher before seelung an appointment with the appropriate Head of Key Stage.
Matters relating to Special Needs: Mrs K Arbuthnot (Learning Support Co-ordinator)
Matters relating to Child Protection; Care & Welfare; Pastoral Care (including medical) or any other
concerns: Mrs L Walker (Designated Teacher for Child Protection) and Mrs K Arbuthnot
(Deputy Designated Teacher for Child Protection)
Matters relating to Attendance: Mrs K Caulfield

Some of the above may well be resolved by a phone call but otherwise it is essential that appointments
are made througli Mrs E Gray or Mrs G McCabe in the school office. All matters will be dealt with as
soon as possible when the above are free from their teaching responsibilities and other commitments.
We view ourselves as partners in the education and welfare of your children and hopefully this letter
will ensure that any concerns and requests from parents are dealt with as efficiently as possible.

Yours sincerely
