Dear Sir,

Reference to your letter dated 29/03/2022 requesting further information relating to our submitted
proposal for Tender D3/2021 - Supply of Single & Three Phase Electrical Meters, we El Sewedy Electrometer
Group (EMG) by this Manufacturer’s declaration do hereby confirm the following:
1. Providing DLMS certificates for single and three phase meters
 The DLMS Certification for all of our proposed meters are enclosed with this letter and
can also be verified through the following link:
i. https://www.dlms.com/member/profile/El-Sewedy-Electrometer-Egypt-Co.-
S.A.E._142
ii. The DLMS certificates were also part of our original submittals for the tender
under the (Special Test _ Type Test Certificates) section
2. Commitment to change the Protocol of Optical Interface to IEC 1107 mode C
 We, El Sewedy Electrometer can confirm the meters support Optical Interface (IEC 62056-
21) which complies with DLMS/COSEM HDLC mode-E protocol, enabling direct local meter
readout.
 If GECOL desires that the Protocol of Optical Interface be downgraded to IEC 1107 mode
C, then El Sewedy Electrometer will commit to making the necessary change to fully
comply with GECOL requirements as per our tender submittals.
3. Confirmation that the System included power limit feature
 We, El Sewedy Electrometer do hereby confirm that the meters support programmable
Load Limiting functionality in accordance with GECOL requirements.
 Please refer to the Meter Manuals located in the (Technical data sheets) section of our
original submittals for the tender to get more detailed information.
4. More details about the site survey, installation and operation of the system (with Meter Data
Management)
 Our proposal will be a full turn-key solution including all necessary supply, installation,
commissioning, operation and maintenance operations necessary to offer a complete and
fully functional AMI Metering solution to GECOL including Meters, Meter Management
Software (HES, MDMS, Billing and Losses Management Module).
 The documentation enclosed includes all of the Project Management and Execution
Methodology Stages for the Project Implementation.
