• Approves incoming materials by conforming specifications; conducting visual and
measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials
• Carrying out inspections on offshore and tower crane based on ITP including inspection
with a third party/client for Hold and Witness point
• Review, witness, and approval of Welding Procedure Specification (WPS)
• Approve in-process production by conforming specifications; conducting visual and
measurement tests; communicating required adjustments to production supervisor
• Request NDT process on required part if any by referring to the drawing and WNS (Weld
Non-Destructive Schedule) after completion upon welding visual inspection according to
AWS D1.1 and AWS D1.6
• Ensuring all fabrication reports (dimensional/visual) are carried out before fabrication
part list inspection (Completion Parts Inspection); release note report (Release for
Painting Process)
• Compiling all reports into MDR for fabrication record purposes.
• Assisting other QC in daily inspection and MDR completion
