Can’t see the forest from the trees

Everyday we encounter problems that we need to solve.

Some are complex and others are simple to solve.
However, at certain times we all tend to lose focus of
what the actual problem is. We concentrate too much on
the smaller items and forget about the big picture.
In English we use the idiom “can’t see the forest for the
tree’s” to describe this.
A simple example could be, that a person needs to paint
an entire house in one day, however they spend half the
day choosing the color of the paint.
In this case the person has lost focus that the goal of the
project is to paint the house in one day and has put too
much effort into choosing a paint color.
So, remember that when meeting goals or problem
solving, we must not loose focus of what that goal or

problem actually is 😊
