Rationale
This project manual block pavement machine creates job opportunity to those MSE who
produce and distribute for users; this manual block pavement machine itself, can be
manufactured where hand tools and raw materials is available. The project provides the
possibility return among generated business idea related to identify competencies to train
pavement production trainees. There is wide range of market in the areas of Construction
industry mostly in Construction Materials supply which benefit customers in manufacturing
simple to use product easy to purchase.

Also we can simply produce in the Building Construction sites especially when our
capital is small or limited. These equipment are use full especially in TVET College to train the
trainee’s about production of the block pavements.

Project description

The project is made up of rectangular pipe metal of different metal structure,piattos and
round bar materials. It has different components and operated manually, inbuilt with easy
assemblies’ parts. The machine, tools and equipment that are necessary to construct this
Equipment are: welding Machine and their equipment, grinding machine, and general hand tools
such as hack saw,files,tape rules, protractor engineering square, chisel, etc. The selling price of
this technology is 334.62 ETB which is more economically, environmentally and customer
friendly.

General objective
The general objective of this project is:-
Circular sawing machine are used for straight cut in solid woods in furniture construction

Specific objectives

 To introduce project based training by integrating four packages( technical

skill, entrepreneurship , technology, KAIZEN)
 To familiar the trainee with copying technology through project based
training.
 To develop the skill by of materials testing and fabricate simple machinery
and equipment that are important for TVET training .
