Register for PingiD for remote access to the EY network and applications

When working outside of an EY office, some resources or applications may require you to connect to the EY network. To do so, use EY Remote Connect
(EYRC), a VPN service that enables you to securely access EY resources when you are on the road, at a client site or working remotely.

Use PingID to log in to EY Remote Connect

To log in to EYRC, you need to use PingID. It’s a convenient tool that EY people use to authenticate their identities to access many EY resources that
require a second factor of authentication beyond username and password.

How to register for PingiD

1. Open the registration portal for New Hires https://mfa-onboarding.ey.com from your personal device (laptop or mobile phone).
2. Log in using your EY email address and password sent by EY in separate emails.
3. Follow the instructions displayed on your device to perform the following:
Identity verification (dark background screens): verify your identity by receiving a onetime code to the phone number or personal email address
you provided during onboarding. After successful identity verification, you will be redirected to the actual PingiD Registration Portal.
 PingID Registration (white background screens): register for PingID using your chosen methods (see recommendations below).

Recommendations for PingiD registration

PingiD lets you set up multiple ways to authenticate your identity for access to the EY network and applications. During registration, choose the methods
recommended below for the most convenient experience.
 Primary method: install the PingID app on your mobile device and allow push notifications. This enables you to authenticate your identity
without being connected to the internet with one finger swipe in the app.
 Secondary method: your personal email address to receive one-time passcodes. This will act as a backup method in case your primary method is
not available.
If you don’t have a mobile device available, you can choose personal email address or voice (phone number) as your primary method.

The mail icon on the system tray should be removed as it is not supported
in EY. Right-click and choose to unpin from taskbar. Internet

To open your EY outlook mail box, type “Outlook” in your PC search bar and open
the Outlook app, If prompted, type your EY email address and click connect. Sign in with EY
