done all that you will do it again from the other
side which would make a 'X' with the center being
your center point.

CENTER PUNCHING THE PEDAL

After finding your center

point you will now go over
and grab a center punch
along with a hammer and
take it over to the metal
holders. After this you will
place the center punch in
the middle which you
already found and hammer
it do center punch your
piece.

PRESENTATION TITLE 8
MARKING AND CUTTING
Now that you have center
punched all your pedals
you will make eight
different lines running
slightly off the center.
You will need eye
protection and safety
gloves while doing this
task.

PRESENTATION TITLE 9
DRILLING

After you finished cutting all

the pieces you will now go grab
the drill from the closet with a
1/8 drill bit and a clamp. As
you are drilling it's important to
note that you be applying slight
pressure over the drill making it
cut through the metal sheet
with ease.

PRESENTATION TITLE 10
CURVING THE PEDALS

After you have finished drilling you

will go back to the same closet
you gotten the drill at but this time
in the left door where you will be

task, you will first need the
following safety equipment such as
gloves, safety glasses, and hearing
protection. Now to add these
realistic details you will need a
chipping hammer, while doing this
make sure the metal is placed on
top of the anvil (the flat surface).
You will now hammer onto the
leaves by hitting it on the edge
creating realistic details, you will
have to do this for each leaf. Make
sure you hit the hammer on the
edge to reduce the chances of it
becoming dull.
DETAILING EACH PEDAL
PRESENTATION TITLE 12
MAKING THE STAR
You will now go up to Mr. Spiers
and ask nicely for a piece of
metal, after acquiring the small
piece of metal you will draw a
star onto it then cut it out with
tinsnips. While doing this task
you will need one safety glove
which would go on the metal
holding hand and safety glasses

PRESENTATION TITLE 13
CUTTING AND CENTER PUNCHING THE STAR

After cutting out the star you

will want to center punch it the
same way you did with
centerpunching the pedals. The
equipment needed to complete
this task is "Ruler, Pencil,
Centerpunch, and a Hammer."
The following safety equipment
is "Gloves, Safety Glasses, and
Hearing Protection."

PRESENTATION TITLE 14
DRILLING AND DETAILING
THE CENTER POINT
Now you will drill through
the center point and to do
so you will need a clamp to
hold the metal star steady
and a drill with a 1/8 drill
bit, after you have finished
that you will now go back to
the anvil with the chipping
hammer giving it the
realistic look to the star.
The following safety
equipment needed is
"Safety glasses and Hearing
PRESENTATION TITLE protection." 15
First you will have to ask Mr.

MEASURING, Spiers for a welding rod, after

CUTTING, AND acquiring that you will now go

PREPARING THE and mark 12 inches on the 24inch

rod. Then you will need a pair of
STEM pliers to cut the rod into 12inches.
The equipment needed to
complete this is "chipping
hammer, gloves, hearing
protection, and eye protection.

the stem on which your pedals are
going to be on. Also make sure to
leave a couple of inches from the top
of the rod and make a loop on the top

FORMATION OF
THE ROSE
After assembling all the parts it's now
time to shape up the rose. To start off
you are going to clamp your pedals
with a Vice, now that you are set up
you will need two pair of pliers with
